Another Kai/Jou drawing. XD This is half of my art trade with . I think I like this pairing too, and I don't know why.
It is supposed that I should draw a jazz band at the back while Seto and Jounouchi are dancing, but I'm too lazy to draw. I make the background look simple, just to imagine if the snow and air are clean and clear.
Wow! So smooth! What have you been colouring with? Looks almost like chalk pastels. Is it? Style is as cute as always, but it looks like you've been taking leaps lately! You are getting so good!

Thanks. I think it's because I have my heart with me when I was drawing this picture. Experiences and practices only, with no heart and confidence to make a picture, nothing can be well done in it. I think.
Actually I use prisma color pencils and mechanic lead pencil to draw this picture, and honestly I almost have never try to use chalk pastels before. Maybe I will try to use chalk pastel if I have change.
To make this picture look really light, I have to erase the lead lines until they look really light and until there are no dark spots. Then, I color it with hard prisma pencils on all the parts and with watercolor pencil on the skin parts. Last, I use a soft white prisma pencil to make the picture look smooth.
Ta Da! That's my secret ingredient of the picture. Hope that would explain about the picture. ^_^ And thanks again for the comment from a really talented artist like you.

Burnishing! ^_^ I never can get Prisma colour pencils smooth myself, and if I do with burnishing, it looks chunky. Yet another person has passed me and joined the "good-with-prismacolors" rank.

We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
